Final decision for the Alexandroupolis INGS to receive European Commission grants

A final decision for the selection and award of grants for the Alexandroupolis INGS project was adopted on November 21st, 2014 by the European Commission.
The grants concern the Front-End Engineering Design of the project.
The project has been pre-selected for grants on October 29th, 2014 from the “Connecting Europe Facility” Programme. This programme concerns the European Projects of Common Interest which are characterized of high priority from their hosting countries and the E.U. due to their contribution to the energy security and the uninterrupted supply of natural gas.
